Pause Your Campaign or Ad

To pause your campaign or ad:

  1. Log in to your account at
  2. Select the campaign(s) you wish to pause and click 'pause' or hover over your Campaign or Ad's status and simply click "Pause".

Reasons to pause an ad may include wishing to stop running a specific ad while preserving the reporting history, or technical issues (for example, problems with your server) that would disrupt the user experience of arriving at your site after clicking on your ad.

Note: If your daily campaign budget runs out or your account balance reaches $0, your campaign is automatically paused until the next day or until funds are added. To learn how to add funds to your account, see Add Funds to Your Account.
